Vehicle Description
This 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super is a very cool
representation of a nicely restored pickup that's also received a
dose of aggression and comfort. So with the amazing paint, 350 V8,
sporty stance, and ice-cold A/C, you know this is the truck for
you.
The Dark Olive Green isn't outrageously wild like those candy
purple or electric blue paint jobs other classics have received.
Instead, it takes an ideal '70s color and adds a hit of
nostalgia-like flair with a hint of metallic and the glow that
comes from a more modern application. It's the factory-correct
color, and in fact, the trim tag tells us the Medium Olive on the
cab delivers the full factory-correct color combo. And both the
condition of the classic wood-like trim and its straightness really
tells you about the detailed investment in this pickup. So now it
fits in with the old-school truck scene, and it also really pops in
the sunlight. Nice chrome bumpers, a lowered stance, and the modern
18-inch Ridler wheels offer a street machine attitude. But when you
look underneath the aerodynamic tonneau, the full liner paint in
the bed reminds you that a good truck needs to know how to get the
job done, too.
Inside, there's more green and wood-like trim. So it has the right
vintage attitude. But just like the exterior, there have been the
right investments in updates and upgrades. You can best see this
perspective on the seats. You have a vintage style with the green
vinyl bench with green cloth inserts. But while this looks
1970s-cool, the feel is far fresher. And there's even a movable
cusp holder center console in a coordinating green. Nice carpeting,
complete door panels, and a smooth dash complete a quality
appearance. You'll appreciate well-integrated upgrades, like the
retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette and air conditioning
blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant. There's a classic Chevy
sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and so it helps make sure
nothing gets in the way of your view of the full gauge panel with
tach.
The 350 cubic-inch small-block V8 looks terrific as the fresh block
paint radiates from within the dark engine bay. And as you take a
closer look, you'll also spot the brake booster and Cadillac-style
air grabber painted in an exterior-matching green. It's just an
extra dose of flair that seems appropriate on this pickup. The V8
inhales deeply from the Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, and it
makes a nice V8 tune out of the X-pipe dual exhaust. Out on the
road, this one has the right driving features you want, including
the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc
brakes, and the grip of modern street tires. Plus, with a thick
sway bar up front and the C10's desirable trailing arm suspension
in the rear, this makes for quite a comfortable all-day
cruiser.
This has the chiseled good looks of a classic bow tie with the
right comfort and style added. The result is an irresistible mix of
quality and distinction. Call today!!!
