Vehicle Description
Cars like this 1949 Ford Custom Tudor Sedan were enlisted for
street machine duty for over 70 years, and this example shows you
exactly. With a custom exterior, extra-comfy interior, and proper
V8 power under the hood, it makes for a complete build of a custom
car icon.
Meadow Green is a great color to have on this Ford just because it
has the nice pastel style that you got back in the day. So it gives
this one a vintage style that is essential on a car like this, and
it was resprayed to make sure you get a good gloss. But what you
really notice in this one are the cool touches that make it a true
custom. It has the best classic touches, like the frenched
headlights, windshield overhang, top-mount side mirrors, and bright
dual exhaust tips. And most of the trim and badging have been
deleted so that you get a smoother look. Plus, your attention is
drawn to the remaining pieces, like the hood ornament.
Open the door to custom comfort. After all, you know those
high-back bucket seats are going to provide a ton more appeal than
the bench seat you got in '49. And the good size of a two-door
sedan means even the back seat stays comfy with plenty of legroom.
There are some nice details like tinted windows, cup holders, and
an AM/FM radio with CD changer. And while you have the classic Ford
steering wheel and gauges, the added B&M floor shifter is there
to let you know there are nice upgrades under the hood, too.
While flathead power was nice to have back in the day, this one
gets an extra kick of power from a larger and younger 305
cubic-inch V8. It's built with the right pieces, like a four-barrel
carburetor and Accel HEI Super coil. This feeds a three-speed
automatic transmission for easy driving. There is even an aluminum
radiator w/electric fan to help keep this one running cool. As you
look underneath, you'll spot nice driver upgrades like rack &
pinion power steering, newer bushings, and power brakes w/front
discs.
This is the true classic Ford that has been given plenty of the
right investment for a true classic cruiser style. So if you love
