Superformance MKIII Roadster SP01559 is finished in Bright Yellow
with Dark Green stripes. This race-inspired MKIII is equipped with
a "Dragonsnake" style removable hardtop and looks stunning both on
and off the track.
SP01559 is powered by a Ford 351W engine stroked to 408ci and mated
to a Tremec TKO 5-Speed transmission. Pumping out 410 rear wheel
horsepower, this MKIII will destroy the competition in both looks
and performance. Additional features include stainless steel side
pipes, dual stainless steel roll bars so you can take a passenger
on the track and chrome fire extinguisher.
All Superformance MKIII's come standard with a Limited Slip
Differential and Power Disc 4 Piston Wilwood Brakes. Other options
include the Bilstein coil-over shocks which provide a sporty ride
while increasing the car's handling.
Inside the roadster, SP01559 has period correct Smiths Gauges with
a Lucas Ammeter Gauge in the period correct dash layout. The doors
are secured by original style carriage style latches. All openings,
such as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around steel
subframe for increased strength and support. The dash is wrapped in
leather, as are the steel framed seats with period correct webbing
for comfort and aesthetics.
The Superformance MKIII is a meticulously engineered and crafted
reproduction of the original, built under license from Carroll
Shelby Licensing Inc. No expense was spared in recreating these
legendary roadsters, ensuring an authentic sports car
experience.
