Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaros is a real-deal SS 396, and so it's
essential you get full control over it with a four-speed. Plus,
this has a terrific sense of vintage style everywhere from the
color combo to the wheels. So it makes for an awesome and powerful
true classic hardtop.
The appeal of this coupe is as clear as black & white... literally.
It was born a desirable Dover White coupe, and there was even a
respray later in life to keep this looking nice and glossy. The
good shine works with super straight bodywork to offer a
combination that looks sharp on arguably the most iconic body style
for the Camaro. And there's a terrific contrast to this with the
blackout front end, blackout rear panel, and the unmistakable black
D90 "hockey stick" stripe package that stretches from the fenders
to the doors. The cowl hood and rear spoiler complete a great SS
look, and the polished bumpers have a terrific style. And this one
goes a bit further than most to look like a true classic street
machine. After all, a Super Sport with dog dish hubcaps makes us
think of the Yenko cars, and the classic Goodyear Polyglas tires
are a true vintage touch.
All the black accents of the exterior get you ready for the full
black interior. This has a nice feel with the seats, dash pad,
carpet, and door panels all looking deep and dark. There is a true
vintage spirit here, right down to the wood-like trim. But it's
also meant for true cruising, and so you have an upgraded AM/FM
digital tuner with cassette, amp, and stereo speakers. Bucket
seats, a grippy dual-spoke sports steering wheel, and a center
console w/aux gauges make an instant connection that reminds you
this is a very sporty machine. And of course, the stick shift is
like a bright beacon calling out to your right hand.
Under the hood is a great classic look with the big block radiating
in orange and chrome. This is a code-X66, and so it's a real-deal
SS 396. That's why it's great to see a year-correct replacement
motor. It's even got correct pieces like the Rochester four-barrel
carburetor and a Winters intake. It fires up easily and has the
unmistakable low rumble of a beastly big block as it comes to life.
You truly have total control over the monster motor thanks to the
four-speed manual transmission, and everything reliably gets to the
ground via a stout 12-bolt rear end. Plus, it's built for real
driving with features like power steering, power brakes, and front
discs.
This Camaro turns heads wherever it goes with its vintage style and
proud growl. And it has the right features to make sure you enjoy
driving it, too. That's why we know it's a hot deal that will be
leaving us soon. Call today!!!
