This 1953 Chevrolet 3100 pickup offers you more. There's more size
with the long bed, more style with the custom exterior touches, and
more power from the V8 upgrade. So it's time to step up to this
more desirable classic.
The red paint is a clearcoat application with a modern shine that
makes you proud to take this out on a sunny day. It's meant to draw
attention in and show off the coolest curves of post-war America
that make Chevy's Advance Design pickups the most desirable classic
trucks around. As a true American classic, it has terrific
brightwork. You can tell there was a lot of care taken with the
mirror, bezels, badging, rear bumper, and that five-bar grille that
looks like an Art Deco skyscraper. The shine is enhanced further
with a sporty set of high-polish Chrome Eagle alloy rims. The front
bumper has been eliminated to give all attention to the grille, but
you have the freedom to put it back since the original bumpers come
with the sale. But what you'll probably love the most is the truck
bed. After all, a long bed means extra lumber, and someone took the
time to get the wood as glossy as the paint.
The interior retains the classic old-school look with the artful
dash, airy cabin, and simple bench but feels fresher. But they also
took the time to make sure that this feels fresher and better than
stock. A proper headliner, good carpeting, and covered door panels
are nice detail additions. The classic gauges are still in the
dash, but what makes this a better driver are the upgrades like a
later model Chevy steering wheel, a tilt column, and SunPro
readouts cleanly mounted under the dash.
The upgraded V8 looks great in the clean engine bay that utilizes
black accenting everywhere from the firewall to the alternator. The
350 cubic-inch V8 is not only larger than anything they ever
offered in these 3100 series, but it has also been built with style
and power thanks to an Edelbrock air grabber, matching valve
covers, and a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. It makes for a
great power upgrade, and you'll get to enjoy its sweet tune from
the dual exhaust. The three-speed automatic transmission, upgraded
independent front suspension, power steering, front disc brakes,
and wide modern tires are all part of what makes this classic a
solid cruiser.
Complete with build receipts, this is the vintage pickup that gives
you more of what you want. The only thing you don't have more of is
time to make up your mind. This deal is going fast. Call
