Vehicle Description
This 1973 GMC 1500 Sierra is a freshly done package with a great
two-tone color combo, custom A/C interior, overdrive transmission,
and well-built crate V8. So check out the pics and info on this
vintage custom pickup, and you'll see someone already did all the
hard work so you can get straight to the fun.
This truck has a terrific color combo. The two-tone blue would be
attractive all on its own. But the way the custom stripe is a
well-defined border that also intertwines the colors also makes
this one absolutely artful. The finish has a huge gloss from a
quality investment, and everything feels fresh. That's because this
restoration was completed in 2020 and only about 5,500 miles have
been put on it since. The full package was said to be around a $60k
investment, but this was a labor of love, and so its
detail-oriented style looks like a six-figure machine. You see it
in all the thoughtful pieces, like the new headlights, pliable
rubber seals, and new liner paint in the bed. And the straight
panels, classic wagon wheels, and bright chrome bumpers are all
there to give you that perfect classic pickup feeling.
Just like the exterior, the interior has a fresh style and plenty
of upgrades. The white leather on the bench seat radiates with
distinction, and you even have houndstooth cloth inserts for a true
GM favorite. There are plenty of comfort/convenience features like
the cold-blowing air conditioning, sliding rear window, USB
charger, an upgraded headliner with embedded stereo speakers, and
an upgraded AM/FM radio with modern Aux input and Bluetooth. When
you slip behind the three-spoke sports steering wheel, the tilt
column helps give you a clear view of the full Dakota Digital
gauges - including a large speedo and tach.
The engine bay looks crisp and clean from all the right
investments. Smooth inner fenders, polished components, and tidy
wires make for a quality presentation. This is a 350 cubic inch
crate V8 that has been upgraded with a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, GM performance intake, and Headman headers that allow
this to exhale with added power and rumble from the dual exhaust.
Because you're going to want to show this truck off everywhere,
it's good that it was made for driving. The four-speed automatic
transmission means you have highway-friendly overdrive. And there's
also power steering, power brakes, and front discs for a vintage
truck that's a comfortable cruiser.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and build receipts.
