This 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air Resto-Mod really features the best of
everything. It gives you a leather interior, air conditioning,
upgraded V8 power, and full custom air ride suspension. It's a
total package classic that loves to cruise easy and make the scene
wherever it goes.
From the moment you lay eyes on this one, you can tell it's an
interesting custom build. But before we dive into the investments
that make it quite original, let's remember why this is such a
great classic to begin with. The top-of-the-line Bel Air model
added plenty more bright trim. Areas like the full window surrounds
make for an added sparkle that are always welcomed on a 1950s
machine. And the reason why the bumpers and trim shine so brightly
is because this car was given a full frame-off restoration in 2015,
and it has left the garage for less than 2,200 miles since then.
The Glacier White paint takes the car's original India Ivory and
really turns up the intensity. So the result is a car that
absolutely loves to radiate in the sunshine. But not everything is
about brightness. There is a well-coordinated matte pewter in the
grille, hallmark rear fender trim, and modern 18-inch alloys. It
helps signal that this shining classic is also something extra
special.
The interior seamlessly blends the vintage and new worlds together.
It starts with the two-tone seats. It has the classic-style bench
look, but now you have a supple white leather with gray diamond
pattern suede inserts. Not only is this coordinating with the
exterior color combo, but also the carpeting, dash, headliner,
trunk, and custom door panels are all done to match. The result is
a thoughtful appearance inside and out. Power front windows
(drivers window will need servicing, and rear windows are
stationary), a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with iPod input, and
R134a air conditioning (will need servicing) means this is the
perfect cruising machine to take your family and friends along for
the ride. But even when it's just you, classic-style features like
the Chevy steering wheel and Dolphin gauges will keep you happily
motoring along.
Since this has an interior and exterior that you'll want to show
off, the engine bay has been given all the right show-stopping
investments, too. The V8 is presented in a clean and white engine
bay, and the low mileage means a fresh presentation that includes
the polished components like the air grabber, valve covers,
pulleys, alternator, and more. This is a 350 cubic-inch small block
crate motor that has been enhanced with a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock intake, MSD distributor, and shorty headers
feeding the dual exhaust system. Plus, there's even a Griffin
aluminum radiator with electric fan to help keep this one cool in
all conditions - even when the A/C is running. Out on the road,
you'll experience more great upgrades, like the newer bushings and
a triangulated four-link rear end. Plus, the air ride system lets
you dial-in the ideal stance from the driver's seat. There's also a
700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, rack & pinion power
steering, power front disc brakes, and Positraction rear end. So
you know this one loves to be driven.
The sale comes complete with build receipts, service manuals, and
plenty of restoration photos. So when you want a full custom that's
made to be enjoyed to the fullest, call today!
