With its full blue presentation, numbers-matching big block (with
added power), and plenty of the right extras, this 1971 Chevrolet
Corvette offers all the right distinctions. So when you're looking
for a mean Stingray that also knows how to look nice, you need to
get to know this coupe.
Bridgehampton Blue is a great factory-correct color to have on a
classic 'Vette. It was only offered for two years, and it's a deep
hue with modern appeal. It was even given a respray later in life
to give it some nice luster in the sunshine. The 1971 cars still
had the nice brightwork package, and it's complete on the
form-hugging bumpers, rocker trim, and Rally wheels. There's even
some nice trim around the big block hood. Plus, there are nice
accessories, including the luggage rack on the rear and two T-tops.
One is the standard color-matched units, and the other is a set of
soft folding panels that take up less space in case you want to
carry luggage and have the option of being open to the world.
The reason why showing off the interior is so important is that the
factory-correct blue gives this classic American a European level
of sophistication in its color combo. It was redone in 2015, and
today that means a quality feel in many places, including the
textured bucket seats, nice carpeting, and a smooth dash. This has
desirable features like power windows, a tilt steering column,
provisions for factory air conditioning (it will need a belt and
servicing,) and an upgraded AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette. You'll
love how the essential gauges dance in front of you with a full
auxiliary readout package prominently to the side. It reminds you
that the Corvette is a true driver's car.
Under the hood is plenty of big block power. This is the
numbers-matching 454 cubic-inch V8. It has even been upgraded with
an Edelbrock package that includes the air grabber, four-barrel
carburetor, and intake. It fires up eagerly with a great big block
tune. And while powerful, it's also a solid all-around driver. You
have the stout but smooth TH400 three-speed automatic transmission,
a fully independent suspension, power steering, and four-wheel
power disc brakes for a great Corvette cruiser.
Here's a cool all-blue C3 with all the right features. So don't let
this big block Stingray slip away. Call today!!!
