Vehicle Description
Take a look at this iconic 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Imperial
Sedan brought to you by Zoom Classic Cars. 802 of this Model 7523
were produced in 1958. This car is registered, runs and drives and
would be an excellent candidate for a restoration. It features the
original 365CI 300HP Engine that runs strong and 4 speed Hydramatic
transmission. Odometer shows 37,962 Miles. Not only is it a rare
series 75 but it was also a coachbuilt car built by Derham Body Co.
Derham Body Co. built cars for the likes of Joseph Stalin, Pope
Pius the XII, King Farouk, President Eisenhower, Gary Cooper,
Raymond Loewy. They were the longest lived American body builder
and the only Classic Era coachbuilder that survived the Depression.
This car was dressed and pressed for luxury. More room than you
know what to do with in the back, you even get more seating if
needed with the fold out jump seats. Aluminum drink holders
everywhere in the back so you know it was prepped for a party. The
entire passenger area was done in soft gray velour for comfort
including the drivers compartment which was usually done in a
durable vinyl. You'll feel like your sitting on Grandma's living
room couch. Entire headliner is covered in velour as well and all
of it is in very good condition with no rips or tears. This car is
a good driver and wil need some work to bring it to its former
beauty. Other features include AC, AM/FM Radio, Wire wheels, Power
Brakes, Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Windows and a 20 gallon
gas tank. The car has a new dual power master cylinder, new front
brakes with rebuilt wheel cylinders, new rear wheel cylinders and a
brand new battery. Rebuilt water pump from Honest John's Caddy
Parts in Texas that was installed in Summer 2020. All the trim is
intact and in decent condition. Some minor rust evident on the body
as shown. Clean undercarriage with standard surface rust only.
Everything is there with the car. including a folder of some
documentation and receipts. Great project for the ambitious
Cadillac restorer. Car is stored in MA. Price Improved, Now Asking
$14,900 OBO. Call Mike or Jeff for more information, pictures or to
schedule a viewing of the classic Caddy. Thanks for looking.
