Folks, if you're looking at this listing, we know you're an El Camino fan. More than most of the cars we see, enthusiasts name these cars with a wink and smirk. We believe the El Camino has a bit more mystic than the Ford Ranchero. Both Chevrolet and Ford chose Spanish names for their car-truck. Ranchero means "rancher" in Spanish and Chevrolet chose the Spanish El Camino meaning "the way".

The concept of a two-door vehicle based on a passenger car chassis with a tray at the rear began in the United States in the 1920s with the roadster utility (also called "roadster pickup" or "light delivery") models.

Our 1973 El Camino has been in a private collection for years. Corvette Mike Midwest doesn't get undocumented car from auctions and we don't trade with other dealers. Our cars come from people we know or referrals.

This car has lived in the midwest for years. Our friends converted the interior back to bench seats, replaced carpet and seat belts. It's really clean.

This original engine has been completely rebuilt in 2015 fitted with pistons, rings, rods, crankshaft, bearings, camshaft, timing belt/chain, distributor ignition system and clean all fuel and electrical assemblies. This El Camino runs solid.

Recent brakes, power master cylinder, carburetor reset and rebuild and complete tune up. New tires and new wheels compliment the update.

The AC unit was also rebuilt in 2015.
