1930 Model A Sedan
Car History
We have a really cool 1930 Model A Sedan with a Rumble seat here at
Adventure Classics with a restoration that looks better than it did
back in the era and makes it a reliable and fun touring car
too.
Check out the pics of the three pages of work done during that
restoration and you will see a lot of time, money. And love went
into it.
Engine & Drivetrain
Under the hood is the 200 cubic inch inline-four cylinder engine
looks just like it did back when brand new in 1930.
The engine looks great painted in the green and looks period
correct with its downdraft carburetor, cooling fan, electrical
system, and all sitting in a restored, cleaned, and detailed engine
compartment.
It has had a lot of new or rebuilt parts including the distributor
and alternator, fuel shut-off valve, Zenith carburetor, water pump,
2-piece crankshaft, points, oil pump, exhaust and muffler, clutch &
pressure plate, and much, much more.
It is backed up by a manual transmission and has had a lot of
suspension parts redone as well as new radiator, brakes, battery is
5-years old, and it can still cruise around on the street as it did
back them. It rides on a lighter color painted spoke wheels with
blackwall tires.
Interior
Inside or A is a clean and neat brown tweed bench seat and matching
door panels, that looks great and is very comfortable as well as
the factory gauges in the middle of the body colored dash, chrome
shifter with black shifter knob, black floor mats, black steering
wheel, and everything inside looking as new.
The rear "rumble seat" in the back is spacious and it still has the
step-up that you need to use to get into it.
Exterior
Our 1930 Sedan is painted period correct too in a 1930 Ford tan
color that is set off by the contrasting black fenders to make a
very stylish looking paint scheme.
The restoration has a very complete look with the iconic twin front
headlights and grill, black front and rear bumpers, mirrors, and
factory horn in the front.
It even has the spare tire in the back too. You won't be
disappointed with how it goes down the road and the looks you get
when you do.
Conclusion
The 1930 Model A Sedan we here at Adventure Classics is a great
restoration of a fun car and driver to take on a cruise or to a
show. It looks good, drives good, and is very reliable too.
