Beautiful 1986 Buick Grand National.
Purchased car in 2003 from Classic Cars and More in Indiana with 41,781 miles on odometer, car has 55,904 miles now. Body in excellent condition, was professionally repainted before my purchase. Interior in pristine condition.
Between 2006 and 2009 engine was rebuilt consisting of hot dip block cleaning, install new bearings, hone cylinders, steel crankshaft, K1 steel rods, JE pistons with file fitted rings, Comp Cam roller camshaft with lifters, springs, rockers and rods, aluminum cylinder heads, BHJ balancer, JW flex plate, Weber high capacity oil pump, aluminum valve covers with VC extended breathers, HR motor mounts, Quad Air 3" downpipe, RJC billet aluminum crank pulley, water pump pulley, power steering pulley, idler pulley, alternator pulley and fan, fuel injectors, dual electric cooling fans, EGR block off plate, HR 10 bolt aluminum rear end cover, RJC deep sump oil pan 20 bolt, Precision plenum, 120 amp alternator, water pump, RJC remote oil filter assembly, ARP bolts and misc. items. Transmission completely rebuilt by Jimmy's Hi-Performance transmission and a B&M supercooler was added where the stock aftercooler was.
Between 2015 and 2019 engine was removed and disassembled to short block for inspection prior to E-85 conversion. A Precision PT-6466 turbo was added along with 3" stainless steel exhaust, fuel tank with straps and rubber isolators, Racetronics DFPS-G7680EQ E-85 dual in-tank fuel pump, hood shocks, vacuum brake conversion, Weber Turbo Buick V6 ported and blueprinted front cover, PC16 cam position sensor, Evenfire high performance silent 9-key timing set for roller cams, large RJC intercooler, aluminum radiator, Denso Corvette starter, Cardone power steering pump with hoses, new AC compressor R-12, heater coil with heater line kit and hoses, FAST XFI computer with latest software, FAST E-Dash, flex fuel sensor, body mount bushings/cushions, Moog coil springs, Bilstein shocks, Optima 35 battery on billet aluminum frame installed in right hand side of trunk with new cables, battery disconnects, aluminum rims with P215/65R15 front tires and P275/60R15 rears with offset to keep rear tires inside wheel wells, tires not in the best of shape, but they came on the rims. Throttle body and injectors were replaced for E-85 but I have no documentation.
E-85 fuel is 108 octane, 85% ethanol. The increase in HP is due to the high octane and the cooling capacity of the fuel.
To access the FAST XFI computer open glove box and plug cable into a laptop, download software program from their website. This will allow you to run another program, modify any setting, update software and many other functions.
The car is extremely fun to drive and sounds very strong, and loves cool E-85 fuel. I have documentation for listed items.
