If you happen to be viewing this 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX on a
website other than our Garage Kept Motors site, it's possible that
you've only seen some of our many photographs of the car due to
third-party website limitations. To be sure you access all the more
than 125 photographs, as well as a short start-up and walk-around
video, and a link to the WRX's Carfax history report, please go to
our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) The WRX has been the focus
of continuous improvement since its introduction. - Motor Trend,
March 2010 Expanding on their headline, the Motor Trend writers
continued: New Subaru Designs for 2011: Both the WRX 5-door model
and 4-door model will now feature a wide-body design for 2011
similar to that of the WRX STI, underscoring the high-performance
character of both models. The new design is based on a 'wide and
low' concept and gives both cars an aggressive street presence. The
design also maintains a consistent flow from front to rear bumper,
creating a distinctive identity and a sense of stability in the
vehicles. Offered here is a well-maintained and respectfully
upgraded five-door Subaru Impreza WRX in Rally Blue over black. In
overall excellent condition (with only a single, side-damage
accident five years ago, long since completely repaired), the car
now shows 107,997 miles on its odometer, or roughly a
below-Carfax-average, 11,000 miles per-year on average since new.
Subaru's excellent reputation for paint quality is on display on
this WRX's Rally Blue: even application with consistent gloss
across the entire car. All body panels, even lower-front body
panels, show no damage or road rash. Flared fenders, large hood air
scoop, racing-style mirror caps, ground-effects lower body-side
panels, lower-front center grille and air-cooling side ducts, and
rear roof spoiler all show off this special Subaru color
beautifully. All lighting lenses-including on the LED
taillights-are perfectly clear and undamaged; cabin glass is
similarly unmarred. All factory emblems-including the Subaru 5-star
emblem, a representation of the Pleiades constellation reflecting
the unity of the stars (Subaru means unity) fore and aft, as well
as the rear-deck model identification-are properly in place.
Platinum-finish, factory, 18-inch wheels are mounted with a matched
set of GoodYear® Assurance tires. Red-painted, Subaru-logo Big
Brake Kit calipers and ventilated rotors can be seen through the
open wheel design. Inside, the WRX shows the results of consistent
owner care and attention. The red-stitched
black-and-dark-gray-fabric upholstery on both front racing-style
buckets and rear bench seat shows virtually no wear: the red WRX
logos embroidered on the front head restraints are perfect and the
surface condition of the fabric throughout is outstanding. In the
same fashion, black door-panel trim and dashboard hard surfaces are
close to new. The Subaru-logo, rally-style steering wheel frames a
center gauge pod with a large, 6,500-rpn-redline center tachometer
flanked by a slightly smaller speedometer and engine-monitoring
cluster. The center stack includes the factory audio unit, HVAC
controls, and vents, with a Cobb® short shifter for the 5-speed
manual transmission located on the console below. Black cabin
carpets are protected by a full set of Weathertech® floor liners
(another indication of owner care), and the carpeted cargo area is
protected with a Subrau factory plastic floor liner. Under the
hood, a turbocharged, rebuilt 2.5-liter, horizontal (Boxer-style)
6-cylinder powers all four wheels. Additions to stock include a
blue Cobb intake and tuner. The engine bay is clean and orderly
with all components properly mounted, and all hoses and wiring
correctly routed. Viewed from below, the car's
