With a sharp-looking exterior, plenty of long bed utility, proper
V8 power, and a nice houndstooth interior, this 1972 Chevrolet C10
knows how to deliver a classic pickup that has all the right
appeal.
The paint package sets the tone right for this truck. The classic
blue with white cab roof is a true classic style. It's the kind of
look you'd want on everything from a 1940s pickup to more recent
ones like this...so it's pure vintage cool. This was even a more
recent wet sand and buff to make much of the finish smooth to the
touch. There are even nice chrome bumpers, a clean grille, and good
body lines. The gas tank was even relocated under the bed for added
safety and a smoother style on the sides. But this isn't some sort
of trailer queen. These long bed trucks can carry the larger loads
and do more chores, and you have a spray-in liner to get work done
while still protecting a true classic.
Nothing says a classic Chevy better than houndstooth cloth inserts
in the seats. But just like the exterior, you have a classic look,
but a far fresher feel thanks to proper investments. The dash pad,
headliner, carpeting, and door panels all have the quality look of
newer pieces. Even the door rubber and windows felts are looking
great. This has the right cruising features, like an AM/FM/CD
stereo with USB and Bluetooth. There are even provisions for air
conditioning (it will need a belt and servicing to blow cold
again.) Plus, upgrades like the sports steering wheel and oil
pressure gauge make this a solid driver.
Under the hood is an honest-looking powerhouse for an honest truck.
The Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 is great for truck duty. Plus, this one
was refreshed about 10k miles ago, and there's also a Holley
four-barrel carburetor on top. It starts easy, idles nicely, and
sounds good. Out on the road, this pickup has all the right
features, like a three-speed automatic transmission, power
steering, power brakes, front discs, wide modern tires, and the
C10's sought-after trailing arm rear suspension.
Complete with owner's manual packet, this is where classic style
meets the right investments on a handy and vintage pickup. Call
