Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we conclude our 22nd year in the
classic and muscle car business. The 1932 Fords, particularly the
roadsters and coupes, are without question the quintessential hot
rods for North American enthusiasts. Availability of the first
low-priced, mass-marketed V8 engines and 89 years of exposure have
ensured virtual immortality for the iconic 'Deuce'. But of all the
variations on the theme, the Highboy Roadster has to be my
favorite. This traditional style refers to removing the fenders but
leaving the body atop the frame. Our vivid Wildfire Red 1932 Ford
Highboy is a fine example of this exciting breed. Motorvation comes
from a 4-bolt BBC 454 V8 that's been fortified with a Holley
carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, Hedman Tight Tube Hedders,
an aluminum water pump, an electric fan with shroud, and HEI.
Additional features include a BeBop's Glass Works body mounted on a
'32 frame, a Sid Chavers Haartz cloth Bop Top, power front disc
brakes, Vintage Air A/C with heater, automatic transmission, Ford
rear end with 4-link and coilovers, chrome front end, Flaming River
steering box, chromed tilt steering column, banjo-type billet and
wood steering wheel, Dolphin gauges, Sony stereo, steel grille and
hood, and painted steel wheels with rings and caps wrapped in wide
whitewall radials (185/70R15 F, 285/70R15 R). Titled as a 2005,
this jewel drives beautifully, has PLENTY of passing power, and
gets more attention than a three-alarm fire! Another dream machine
from the team that makes dreams a reality. Street Dreams
(830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with
worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
