Upgraded V8 power, sleek paint, and plenty of custom details
(including an A/C interior) all tell you that this 1950 Chevrolet
Styleline Deluxe Bel Air is a fun custom build. So dig into the
details on a very cool/custom hardtop.
1950 was a pivotal year. It was the first time Chevy would offer
the pillarless hardtop design of the Bel Air. As one of the most
expensive sedans in its lineup, it's also one of the rarest. And of
course, there are even fewer that survived the 70+ years to look
this good. The bright white paint is both glossy and has timeless
appeal, which sets the tone for this custom machine. The trim has
been expertly shaved in most places to give this a smoother look.
So your eye spends more time appreciating the rounded fenders and
the unique silhouette of this pillarless hardtop. And with some of
the brightwork removed, you really get to focus on the places that
matter most. There's a beautiful finish on the wraparound chrome
bumpers, distinct grille, and two-pieces windshield trim, and
cruiser-style smoothie wheels.
The interior is the ideal mix of old and new world styles. For
example, the seats are a classic bench, but they are now finished
in a comfy velour. You'll love the vintage details everywhere from
the Art Deco style speedometer to the working courtesy lights. The
dash has a terrific classic style, but that also didn't stop them
from integrating some great upgrades. Features like cold-blowing
air conditioning, a tilt steering column, and a Kicker Bluetooth
stereo controls are great for modern cruising - especially with all
the windows down on this hardtop.
This Bel Air was born just before the small block era, but they now
fit so nicely under the hood that it's hard to resist this upgrade
in power. The 350 cubic-inch V8 inhales deeply with a four-barrel
carburetor, and it exhales out of a set of shorty headers that add
more horsepower as they feed the dual exhaust. We have the
maintenance records that show there has been a solid all-around
investment in this car over the last few years that includes a
newer aluminum radiator, a newer gas tank, and a tune-up within the
last 1k miles. So it makes for added power and a hardy all-around
cruiser. That's also why you have great driving features like power
steering, updated power brakes, front discs, a three-speed
automatic transmission, and new modern cruising tires.
Hardtops are always great classic cruisers, and this one has been
upgraded to really maximize that feeling. So you know you don't
want to miss this coupe, call today!
