GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this stunning 1985 Jeep
Scrambler for your consideration. This Jeep is powered by its 258
inline 6 cylinder mated to the manual T5 transmission and Dana 300
with a DANA 30 up front and an AMC 20 in the back. The engine was
rebuilt roughly 3 years ago. The frame is very clean and still has
the spare tire jack mounted to the passenger side inner fender. It
rides on 4 new aftermarket 15x7 wagon wheels with brand new tires
including a matching spare. It has 4 new Rancho shocks. Inside the
cab there is a factory center console, brand new carpet and very
clean original dash pad. Other highlights include new seals on both
doors/tailgate and windshield cowl. Turning and stopping are made
easy with assistance from the power brakes and power steering. This
CJ8 runs strong and shifts smoothly.
The Jeep CJ-8 was the longest model in the CJ series. The CJ-8 was
two feet longer and had a 10-inch longer wheelbase. This additional
length added more stability and comfort when driving. Jeep did not
produce or sell as many CJ-8s as it did the CJ-5 and CJ-7. Now is
your chance to take home an awesome fully restored Jeep CJ-8.
