This car is a true classic. It was originally ordered by a Chevrolet dealer in Moorestown NJ where the car sat on their showroom for years as a display model. The owner of the dealership wanted to keep the car local and sold it to a second owner, who also lived in Moorestown. The second owner kept it for decades and at some point the car was restored and freshened up. I purchased the car from a Moorestown gentlemen whose son worked for me, after coming down with a terminal illness and have had the car from roughly 15 years. It has always been used as a show car in parades and it a fun car for the kids that enjoy the rumble seat. The car starts and runs great. It still has its original luggage in the rear storage box. My mechanic has recently gone through the car to make sure there are no known issues. Fuel system, brakes, engine, electrical all functions correctly. A new fuel tank was put in the car recently due to corrosion in the original tank.
This is a 2-door, 2-passenger Sports Roadster w/2-passenger rumble seat DeLuxe Model. VIN# 5 2BA12 9734. It has a three-speed synchro-mesh transmission and a "Free Wheeling" mode called Wizard Control, which permits the car to coast when the driver's foot is lifted from the accelerator. The electrical system is 6 Volt Negative ground, dual front (referred to as "Town and Country") horns and it has an optional passenger side brake light.
