by the seller in 2008, reportedly from the prior owner of 16 years.
The present owner is a car collector and the car has been
occasionally used and kept in a climate controlled garage. The car
was refurbished during the previous ownership including a repaint
and fitted with original style broadcloth interior. Power comes
from an original 221 ci, 24 bolt Flathead V8, 85hp, paired with the
original floor mounted 3 speed manual transmission. This Ford is
now offered with a clean Texas title in the seller's name.
Highlights include top hinged roll out front glass, rubber covered
running boards, aerodynamic catwalk-mounted headlights with chrome
trim, chrome bumpers and twin exhaust outlets. 16 inch wheels wear
Ford vintage spyder hubcaps, a rare option with Coker wide whites
that are 3 years old. The original banjo style steering wheel
fronts the wood grain dash with all original instruments including
a working manual wind up clock. Dual chrome side mirrors. New
electric and manual fuel pumps. Original 6V electrical system The
interior features a bench seat, painted wood-grain dash, window
surrounds, rear parcel shelf and a matching tan fabric headliner
and front sun visors. Instrumentation includes a 100mph speedometer
and a combination gauge cluster with oil pressure, coolant
