International Scout ll for consideration. Build for 20 years, the
Scout is one of the most beloved off-road vehicles to this day. The
Scout was originally designed and sold with the direct intensions
of competing with Jeep and the Toyota Land Cruiser in then, the
narrow 4 wheel drive market. Since its inception, the Scout, along
with the Bronco, helped pioneer the way for the SUV market to grab
hold and take off with the American automotive public.
The example here is powered by a it's 304 cid V8 engine, 3 speed
manual transmission and International's proven 4-wheel drive
system. It has been the recipient of a high quality, selective
style restoration. The exterior has body and paint has been
restored to a very high standard to its original color of:
Glennoble Green with white Rally decal package. The paint is
excellent in all areas, and the Scout appears to retain all its
original body panels. The interior features new upholstery and
freshly painted floors. The dash, gauges, gear shifter, steering
wheel etc. All remain unrestored and show excellent original. The
engine bay area and the frame and underside all remain original and
unrestored. It is clean and dry and shows off an amazing original
core structure.
Other highlights include: Front and rear bench seat, power
steering, power brakes, AM/FM factory radio, removable hard top,
rear sliding side glass, interior mounted spare, air conditioning
(complete, compressor turns on, blower motor works but needs a
charge), etc.
This Scout possesses excellent drivability and gets noticed
everywhere it is seen or driven.
