Vehicle Description
This 1986 Ford Bronco is the premium XLT version of this 4x4. And
today it still upholds the two ideas of a go-anywhere SUV that's
also loaded with all the best features, including A/C. So this
fuel-injected V8 classic is a terrific all-around cruiser.
This is one of the most iconic-looking generations of the
F-Series/Bronco from the last half-century. And the bumpers,
grille, and full-length trim all look good to show off the classic
lines. And we love the more recent refresh of the Shadow Blue
Metallic paint. It has a good gloss that will get you noticed at
the stoplights, and the hardtop is even painted to match. But the
full presentation isn't so fancy that you'll get nervous about
using this as a real SUV. After all, this is quite handy with newer
off-road tires, a full-size spare on a swing-away mount, wide
towing mirrors, and a step bumper with a hitch ball. And you just
know that a fold-down tailgate is perfect for everything from ball
games to campsites.
The sea of blue continues inside, and the upscale XLT interior also
means a nice interior finished in comfortable velour. Fold-down
armrests, a center console, and a full gauge pack on the dash give
you a commanding driving position. And this has a large back seat
and plenty of cargo room for everyone's gear. You have great
features like power windows (including on the tailgate,) cruise
control, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input. The
factory A/C blows cold with modern R134a refrigerant, and so that
makes it even more appealing to take off the rear hardtop and open
this one up to the world.
Under the hood is Ford's hardy 302 cubic-inch V8. We have receipts
showing this motor has received proper care, right down to a newer
alternator, distributor cap, and plug wires. So while we don't know
if this is the original engine or mileage, you can already tell
there is a level of care and investment that keeps it a
strong-runner today. Plus, this comes from the era of fuel
injection, and that means good power and consistency. A two-speed
transfer case keeps this a true 4x4. But the appeal here is also
for an easy time on the road with power steering, power brakes,
front discs, and a four-speed automatic transmission
w/overdrive.
This is the classic and premium Bronco XLT that has a ton of style
and a ton of substance. That's why the full package is
irresistible. Call today!!!
