Exterior

The exterior is in beautiful fully restored condition.  This Trans Am was treated to a professional repaint with all new decals which are in new condition and were part of the restoration.  The paint is in terrific condition and has a high gloss and smooth touch, with a beautiful shine.  There is no bubbling paint anywhere on the body and the gaps and lines are very good around the car.  There is no visible rust anywhere on this car or underneath the car.  Its very solid and rust free.  Tires are brand new and correctly sized at 225/70/15 and the Snowflake wheels are new with new center caps.  All weather stripping and window sweeps are newer and in great condition.

Interior

The new black vinyl upholstery is in great condition, with no rips, wear or holes. The door panels are original with some marks, while the headliner is new. The new black original-style carpets are in excellent condition. The black dash, dash pad, seat belts and gauges are all very good, showing only minor use. The black leather wrapped steering wheel has no cracks, but has some wear. The interior stainless/chrome trim pieces all appear to be original. The trunk is in nice condition, with new “speckle paint” (no spare tire, mat, or jack).

Mechanical

The rebuilt engine starts easily and idles smoothly. We found that the clutch is easy, and the transmission works well. The new brakes pull the car to a straight stop. The steering is smooth, easy and tracks straight down the road. We found that the lights, gauges, and radio are all in working order. The original numbers-matching engine and all options are correct under the hood. This originally was an air conditioning car, but it is not installed. An electric fan set-up for the radiator has replaced the original fan.
