HISTORY : Many auto enthusiast would rank the 1967 Corvette,
particularly the big block engine and the unique "stinger hood" as
the "best looking" and "coolest" car of all times. The L71 engine
option, which is on this car, was a 427 cubic inch, 435
"Hi-Performance" V-8 engine with the distinctive three-two barrel
carburetor configuration and a 12.0 compression ratio. In 1967,
some 3,754 buyers (or 16%) purchased this engine option out of
22,940 cars produced that year (includes some 14,436 convertibles).
From the factory, this car can do 60mph in 5.5 seconds and the
quarter mile in 13.8 seconds.
