For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

It checks all the boxes- great colors and features. I drove this car home and wouldn't be afraid to take it anywhere. It has the upgrades that maximize reliability, performance and comfort.

EXTERIOR: This car has been painted over 20 years and it has proven itself. Very clean body, it's straight and smooth. I don't see any problem areas, no blisters, no cracking. It's smooth all along the bottoms. According to the tag it was born a Bolero red car. The paint is polished like red glass, the white stripes are painted on. It has a metal cowl hood, rear spoiler and it is a Rally Sport. The electric headlight doors open/close properly. The chrome is all shiny- the bumpers, tail lights, gas cap, door handles, emblems etc. Dual mirrors were just added. The door jambs are painted slick, weather strips were replaced. It has a power black convertible top in excellent shape. It's rolling on a set of 17 in polished aluminum Centerline Wheels with G-Force performance tires and wider in the back.

INTERIOR: Real nice deluxe interior which includes the upgraded upholstery and molded door panels, both of which look like they've been replaced. The carpet is excellent, it has a factory center console with updated overdrive shift indicator. It has a deluxe wheel on a tilt column. Dash area is real nice, it does have custom digital gauges, a Classic Auto Air climate control panel and vents. Brand new Sony Bluetooth stereo with kick panel speakers.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Crate 350-330 hp HO that is a GM crate motor which offers the best in performance and reliability. On top it has an aluminum intake, a Holley carb with electric choke and HEI ignition system. The front of the motor has chrome pulleys and alternator. There's a modern power steering with stainless braided hoses. It has a set of headers. The power brake booster and master are chrome. $5,900 was just spent adding a Classic Auto Air heat and air conditioning system. The engine's cooled off with an aluminum radiator with an oversized electric fan. The engine bay is painted nicely.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Real solid trunk floor with a carpeted mat. It looks like the wiring harness, well liner, weatherstrip were replaced. It also includes two car covers- one is a soft premium cover.

UNDERSIDE: It has nice upgrades under this car. It rides and handles exceptionally well. The front end was rebuilt and upgraded with tubular upper control arms and a heavy duty sway bar. Springs and shocks were replaced. It has frame connectors tying the front to the back to prevent body twist. The rear suspension has upgraded sway bar and the shocks were replaced. Upgraded Wilwood brake system with disc at all four wheels, stainless braided hoses and a new e-brake assembly. Looking up at the motor it's spotless, has a high torque starter. Upgraded to a 700R-4 overdrive automatic trans. In back is a custom Ford 9-inch rear end. New dual exhaust system. The fuel system was replaced. The floors are solid and clean.

I sold this car about 15 years ago to somebody local that I know. I purchased it back from him a year ago. I sold the car again and that owner just added the a/c, stereo and made several improvements. For personal reasons had to sell the car after getting it just right. Here is your opportunity to buy a very desirable, attractive camaro convertible that us dialed in and ready to enjoy!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
