For Sale: 2007 Chevrolet K-2500 in Morgantown, Pennsylvania
The C designates the vehicle as a two-wheel drive. The K, a 4WD.
Plain and simple, the difference between a K series truck and a C
series truck is a transfer case, different suspension, and a front
axle. The K series truck is four-wheel drive and has these
items.
For consignment, a K, (4-wheel drive), 2500 HD pickup. This truck
has had an engine replacement at 26,708-mile marker due to a defect
in the original. Now the truck has a total of 41,160 original
miles. It has never seen salt or snow and has always been garaged.
Our consignor states that regular maintenance was always performed
when it was time.
Exterior
All bathed in white with some snazzy graphic stripes on the 4
doors, this crew cab full bed truck is looking good. It is very
clean, has some black accenting, as well as trimmings, a trailer
hitch setup and nice shiny chrome bumpers with some black accenting
on them. The bed has a vinyl topper protecting the all weather gray
colored carpeting which lines the entire interior of the bed.
16-inch shiny wheels are on all 4 corners.
Interior
Molded beige vinyl doors with power windows, mirrors and locks and
a large speaker is noted in each door. Inside in front 2 large
beige broadcloth buckets with a center fold down jump seat to
accommodate an extra passenger or put it down and have a large
armrest for the bucket passengers. The driver's front seat is power
adjustable. A full-size door in the back opens up room for at least
3 more passengers and the end seats have access to the power
controls save for seat adjustment. The dash is a clean analog
display gauges and there is a small panel on the bottom of the
speedo that has a digital display in blue LED. In the center is an
AM/FM/CD player, climate controls, and a small storage bin. Rubber
diamond plate pattern mats cover the brown carpeting in front, and
the back carpeting does not have mats, but remains clean.
Drivetrain
Under the hood is a 6.0 liter V8 which pumps out a factory
designated 353hp. It has EFI and a 4L80E 4-speed automatic. A 3.73
rear axle is noted. All clean and good looking under here.
Undercarriage
Nicely preserved with no rust, torsion bars in front, and leaf
springs in the back, and power disc brakes all around.
Drive-Ability
All good for this well-kept truck, all functions were great, and it
has plenty of power.
A real work horse that has not seen many days of actual hard work,
which with cars and trucks this is a good thing. Nicely preserved,
and a really nice truck for someone who is looking for a worker
that can take the crew along for the ride. Whether the occupants
work as hard as this truck is capable of, is another story!
