Vehicle Description
The 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 is possibly the best retro muscle
machine out there. After all, it gets its design cues from some of
the meanest sheet metal of the era, and then you add in 425
horsepower of a modern HEMI V8 and a six-speed manual. Plus, the
modern comfort of A/C, leather seats, and so much more makes this
low-mileage coupe an irresistible icon.
While the name for this paint is Bright Silver Metallic, it's so
sleek and shiny it probably should have just been called
"Quicksilver" instead. It shows all signs of being the factory
application, and it's still so striking because this coupe has
averaged only about 1,6000 miles annually. Dodge's SRT (Street and
Racing Technology) division knows how to make this look like a
street brawler even when standing still. The chin spoiler, HEMI
vented hood complete w/callouts, and the full-width rear spoiler
are all clear indications this is a muscle car for the modern era.
This one even has hood pins for that proper speed machine look. But
Dodge also got the details right, too, by striking a perfect
balance between retro design and modern attraction. You see it in
everything from the classic fuel filler cap to the large 20-inch
polished SRT alloy wheels.
The full black interior looks great against the silver exterior.
The leather bucket seats with comfortable suede-like inserts match
the rest of this deep black interior. It really lets you know this
Challenger has a dark side, and there's even an aggressive red
streak across the seatbacks to back it all up. This is a loaded
modern muscle machine with all the features you could want,
including a power driver's seat, power mirrors, power windows,
power locks, keyless entry, cruise control, dual airbags, and side
airbags, and AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input. But we know your real
favorite soundtrack comes from the dual exhaust. You'll be running
with the windows down so much that you'll be glad to know the air
conditioning is blowing ice cold.
While the SRT-8 package makes this Challenger look aggressive on
the interior and exterior, its real value comes from what's under
the hood. You have the fuel-injected 6.1-liter HEMI V8 taking
center stage in the engine bay. It growls to life like no other
modern car out there, and with 425 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque
straight from the factory, this one will outrun its muscle car
ancestry. Best of all, not everyone gets to be in complete control
like you do with the six-speed manual transmission. This rare
feature means you can go from mild to wild in one downshift. In
fact, there have been the right small additions that make a big
difference for performance fun, like cold air induction, strut
tower brace, and a Barton shifter. And while the body may have
retro cues, the fully independent sports suspension, big Brembo
four-wheel disc brakes w/ABS, and Nitto ZR-rated tires are all part
of a very modern package that keeps you in control like no '60s
muscle car ever could.
Complete with owner's manual, you've already fallen in love with
the looks, the features, and the dominating HEMI V8. So when a
low-mileage modern classic is this appealing and this affordable,
you know you need to act fast. Call today!!!
