An amazing 1972 International Harvester Scout II in fantastic running condition! This head turner was ordered directly from IH by one of the engineers that helped design and build the Scout II. After purchase, the Scout stayed in the family until I bought it. I have all the original sale paperwork including the option sheet filled out by original owner and all the original manuals/books. The truck was painted a majestic black cherry and the 345 motor was rebuilt with an early 90s 392 top end.
I picked up in 2016 and have only cruised the truck a few times a month in the summer season. The mileage is 72,600. It spends most of its spare time in an attached garage with a cover on it. I still have the hard top that matches with the plastic inserts. I have made some tasteful updates and modifications while owning the truck that make it more fun and comfortable for cruising. Mods/Upgrades are listed below:
This Scout is so cool and unique looking. It needs a new home so it can be driven more often and "be seen"!
