Vehicle Description
This 1978 Ford F-100 has some extra flair, extra utility, and the
extra attraction of a well-built 302 V8. And you don't have to pay
extra to get this attractive vintage pickup.
The factory black paint was traded with a more modern electric-like
blue that instantly makes an impression. It has a good gloss that
brings a new dimension to the vintage curves. And this modern flair
within classic style seems to be an overall theme for this truck.
After all, you have an upgraded look with the LED headlights, clear
turning lights, bright 15-inch alloys, a flush rear pan, and a soft
tonneau over the bed. And all those upgrades are nicely integrated
into a true vintage style. After all, the '78 truck's unique front
end shines brightly, and the bed has flat black paint so you can
still get down to real pickup duty when you want.
Inside is a well-done set up in a sturdy black. There are good
fundamentals with investments in newer carpeting, door panels, seat
cover, gauges, a smooth dash pad, and a newer seat cover. Even the
dome light works. Plus, they added some upgrades along the way,
like a Grant sports steering wheel and an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo
with Bluetooth so you can always have your favorite driving music.
And the air conditioning is now running on modern R134a refrigerant
(it will likely need a recharge to blow ideally cold again.) It all
makes for a nice place to spend some time.
A proper pickup needs the real power, and this engine bay showcases
a well-done 302 cubic-inch V8. It's upgraded with Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor w/electric choke, an Edelbrock aluminum
intake, and HEI ignition. It makes for a strong runner that makes a
sweet tune out of the Flowmaster dual exhaust. And because this is
built to be a good all-around classic, you have good driving
features, like a C6 three-speed automatic transmission, power
steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide modern tires.
Here's a true classic with the best distinct upgrades. That's why
it's such an irresistible pickup. Call today!!!
