Pros-#267 Pininfarina for 1980. Great car, solid. Refurbished from an Indiana barn find about 15 years ago. Runs solid...has original Fiat badges...a new clutch, a new gas tank, has not seen rain in 10 years. Original leather-wrapped steering wheel. Fuel-injected. Tires are like new, with no weather checking and no tread wear. The top is intact (new with refurbishing) no cracks and the window is clear. Has new battery (2021) and brakes are good. No problems with transmission. No rust. I put it on the road when the weather improves in the spring and cover and garage it during the winter. Starts right up in the spring after setting for 4-or-5 months. Body is 99% unblemished-one small ding about the size of a half-dollar.
Cons-Parking brake does not work and has the obligatory Spider dashboard cracks. Has the usual surprises that occur with a 40+ year old car. The gas gauge works-when it feels like it! Leather shifter boot needs re-attached--it is in place just needs tools I don't have. I have found parts are relatively easy to get.
