Those who really know Cords, know this is not exactly a replica. Much like Avanti, once the main company closed down, true enthusiasts kept an iconic design alive under the official name. So when Sports Automobile Manufacturing Company (Samco) was in charge, the 810/812 line had evolved into cars like this Royale. The Cord you're looking at today is also a true classic that has crossed the half-century mark. There is no concern for body rust thanks to fiberglass, the weather-stripping feels newer, and the overall presentation is quite complete. Plus, the yellow paint has the right amount of gloss to show off those curvy fenders. But more than just the fundamentals, this one looks fantastic for having all the right flair.
