Jeeps are a timeless representation of a go-anywhere 4x4 spirit. So
it's great to find an example like this 1978 Jeep CJ7 Renegade that
seems to maximize that spirit, and do it all for quite an
attractive price.
Right from the first impression, this Jeep seems to show off
hardcore off-roading at its best. The black paint, black fender
flares, and 15-inch black wheels gives it plenty of attitude. And
the added bold blue Renegade decal package were laid down with care
so that it attracts all the right attention. It looks ready for the
terrain with the 3-inch lift, tubular steps, and padded roll bar.
There's even some added flair with the robustness with the
laser-cut CJ7 in the steel front bumper. And while the standard
headlights are what you need in-town, there's also KC spot lights
on windshield to ensure that lighting will never be a problem even
in the deepest wilderness.
It's nice to have a Jeep with a full convertible top and full soft
doors that let you fully button-up whenever you want it. And
beneath the black roof is a full black interior. If this were a
muscle car, we'd talk about the cool triple-black style that's
always desirable, but really you just want to get down to business
in this Jeep. There's rugged liner paint on the floor, a grippy
sports steering wheel, and upgraded stainless pedals that all give
you a robust function. The seating has been upgraded, and we
especially like those plusher front buckets. They just make it
easier to enjoy the view of the trail ahead.
Under the hood is a 258 cubic-inch inline-six motor. These are part
of a long-standing hardy powerplant for the Jeep line, and this one
has even been given the right supporting components. It includes a
newer alternator, hoses, and an aluminum radiator. As you look
underneath, you'll also see a solid presentation with more
investments, like new shocks. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case,
lifted stance, and BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As uphold the proper
Jeep reputation. And the power steering and front disc brakes are
part of an easier package for when you're even just running around
on asphalt.
A triple-black CJ7 Jeep with the right off-road upgrades is always
an attractive sight, especially at this price. Call today!!!
