Vehicle Description
This 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air has the slick and custom appearance to
announce it's an updated and upgraded restomod. And with the
sharp-looking A/C interior, overdrive transmission, four-wheel
discs brakes, and a great 350+ hp LS1 V8 upgrade, it proves this is
a terrific all-around driver's classic.
This generation Bel Air has some of the crispest body lines around,
and so they always make us take notice. That's why there has been
such a solid investment in one. For example, the consignor states
that there was $10k spent on a recent professional respray. And the
way this radiates in the sunlight backs up that solid investment
feeling. Wraparound chrome bumpers, the wide grille, and
full-length trim all have that look you love. And you'll even see
the quality in the details, like the clean/clear lights,
fresh-feeling weather-stripping, and the way the doors close with
confidence. But there's more here than just a great classic.
Everything from the fuel injection badging to the 17-inch Foose
wheels (with extra meaty rear rubber) hint at the beast within.
The interior gets the vintage feeling right. The seats have a
terrific factory look with the classic pattern inserts. You even
have the detailed tri-tone trim on both the seats and door panels.
It's all part of an investment in a full Ecklers package that gives
you the classic look but a far fresher feel. There's plenty of room
for family and friends in this large coupe, and there are features
like an AM/FM/CD stereo w/aux input and cold-blowing air
conditioning to keep everyone happy. But you'll always have the
best seat in the car. You get the classic features like the
thin/grippy factory steering wheel and a speedometer as long as the
horizon. But there are also the right well-placed upgrades. There's
a moveable cup holder center console for added comfort, and the
full SunPro auxiliary gauge package gives you a full picture of
what's going on under the hood.
The engine bay looks terrific with the smooth black inner fenders
and firewall. It funnels your attention to the unmistakable bold
red covers and the upgrade in the middle. This is a 5.7-liter
fuel-injected LS1 V8. It has been given headers and a new tune, and
so the consignor states this is now making 350+ horsepower. It also
is supported by the right pieces - everything from an upgraded
wiring harness to a Champion aluminum radiator w/electric fan. This
is the kind of total package that's great for power driving as well
as comfortable cruising. That's why you also have a 460LE
four-speed automatic transmission that's stout enough to handle the
performance and smooth enough for overdrive cruising. Plus, there's
power steering, grippy modern tires, and four-wheel power disc
brakes for a great all-around driving experience.
This Bel Air has a sleek style, awesome stance, and all the right
upgrades to enjoy it near or far. That makes for a terrific cruiser
that you know you need to take home. Call today!!!
