This 1973 Ford Mustang has tons of original style and a cool color
combo inside and out. Plus, this V8 cruiser has terrific features,
like air conditioning. It makes for a distinct cruiser in a
desirable pony car package.
This car represents its era quite nicely. For starters, this
mustang is wearing the factory-correct Medium Aqua Blue like it did
when it was new. It's not perfect and not the original paint, but
it certainly still knows how to attract attention. Ford had gone
upscale with the Mustang by the end of its first generation, and so
the car had extra size and style. This one seems to show it off
quite well. The full-length black and white pinstripes are quite
distinct against the factory blue. They seem to bring extra
definition to the long hood and swoopy line that runs from
headlight to taillights. Plus, the black goes with the tinted
windows, and the white is a great coordinating piece for the white
vinyl half roof. And everything from the factory-correct
color-matched front bumper to the upgraded American Racing wheels
give this coupe distinction.
The white accents of the exterior are also a preview of the white
interior. This looks to be a highly original setup. So you may see
some worn-in style, but for survivor fans, you know the allure of
only being original once. High-back bucket seats, a center console,
and a grippy dual-spoke steering wheel give you a great cruiser
feeling. Plus, the upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo and cold-blowing
R134a air conditioning are there to make sure this is the kind of
classic coupe that you can enjoy cruising all weekend long.
The 302 cubic-inch V8 looks good with its bold blue block and
"Powered by Ford" valve covers. And even the factory stickers
around the engine bay help drive home this stock/vintage feel. And
the way this one continues to fire up readily is a true sign of
respected care and maintenance. There's also power steering, a
three-speed automatic transmission, and wide Cooper Cobra tires to
make this a solid driver.
A '73 coupe is an interesting piece of Mustang history that we
don't get to see too often, and this is one with all the right
features for both survivor style and driving fun. So it's amazing
you can get it all right now for such an affordable price. Call
