I purchased this Original, Rust-Free Arizona Beauty for my wife and it has been in our collection for 32 years, it drives like the day it was new and it's air conditioning is as cold as ice.
This low mileage truck has been meticulously cared for, and I have taken much care in keeping everything to originality when servicing, as when it was built at the factory.
The 402 cubic inch engine, is in meticulous condition, and runs as new.
The Original carburetor was rebuilt, and Transmission was serviced. it's been approximately 3,500 miles since completed.
One exception……. My wife said, “if you’re doing this for me, I want a good sound system, and some engine chrome”, .... soooo, I gave her chrome valve covers, air cleaner, and a dipstick, along with an am/fm stereo and an LMC headliner with speakers! I have all of the original equipment safely wrapped and shelved, including the radio, to go with the sale.
The truck is loaded with many options, and is truly a dream to drive. Being a true Big Block 402 cu. in., Mark VI, engine since new, I had a custom dual exhaust system, which gives it an excellent tone!
One particular option that was offered, is the optional spare fuel tank in which, was installed beneath the box, and as you can see, has the extra fuel inlet with the Locked cap. Both tanks can be used together or, the in cab tank can be removed if chosen, and the optional tank installed as the primary fuel source for more safety.
Photos will show original factory undercoating under floors, tight to the metal, and not added. No salt EVER, just a flamboyant life under the dry Arizona sun...!
