Vehicle Description
-Blue Agnano, Black interior, Blue heather carpeting, 1.3 Liter V4
engine, 5-speed manual gearbox, Restored, Previous collector
ownership, Well serviced.
The Fulvia was Lancia's first of 10 Rally Championship wins in
1972. With front-wheel drive, the Fulvia utilized a narrow
V-configuration 4-cylinder engine mounted in front of the front
axle. Updated in 1974, the Series 3 Fulvia featured a matte Black
grille and headlight frame, new seat design incorporating headrests
and new white-faced instrument dials.
This Series 3 Fulvia spent most of its life in its home market of
Italy, owned by a Doctor in Varese, Italy. After his long-term
ownership, the Fulvia was registered in Cardiff, Wales. It was
exceptionally well serviced as shown it its included service
history book. Prior to its import into the US, this Fulvia was
restored including a rebuild of its original engine with trumpet
intakes and an electronic ignition with rebuilt carburetors and a
bare metal repaint in its original color of Blue Agnano. Also
fitted was a new windshield, period correct original Lancia steel
racing wheels and front fog lights. The bumpers were removed for
the full rally look. The interior was retrimmed in original Nero
Lancia tex and a new racing steering wheel was fitted.
This restored Fulvia has enjoyed proper collector-enthusiast
ownership for the past several years and always maintained
regardless of use. This Fulvia is clean with excellent body fitment
and no signs of any previous damage or major repairs. A truly
iconic sports coupe, this Lancia is comfortable, yet dialed in for
around-town cruising. The Fulvias are well balanced cars with slick
gearboxes and nimble/predictable handling, it is a wonderful
vintage sports car in every respect. This said, it is extremely
hard to find this desirable model in this condition. A recent road
test attests to the car performing flawlessly in every way and it
is ready for immediate use and enjoyment. It is complete with
books, original brochures, service records, jack and spare wheel as
well as its ASI Heritage Certificate from AutoMotoClub Storico
Italiano.
