Vehicle Description
In 2016 a new era of the muscle truck was born. The Ford F-150
Shelby unleashed a 700 horsepower supercharged 4x4, and for a very
select few there was a very limited Tokna Edition. But while this
has all the right upgrades to truly take off-road, a low-mileage
collectible like this has been kept exceptionally pristine. After
all, you don't have to be the one to get off the pavement too often
when you're already pure intimidation on wheels.
The F-150 is already an imposing vehicle, but it has nothing on the
special treatment that was done when Shelby teamed up with the 4x4
juggernauts at Tuscany Motor Company. And while this was a terrific
partnership, they brought one more brand on board for a very rare
edition: Tonka. They created the ultimate adult toy with Screaming
Yellow paint. And the whole package is impressive, because they
took the hot upgrades of the Shelby truck, including the tall
stance, notched rear bumper, and custom hood with dual intakes.
Then they added pure Tonka flair with the special grille, front
bumper, ribbed door rockers, and special Tonka tailgate. And while
this was made to look like your favorite adult-sized toy, don't
forget this is still a truck that knows how to get to work. The
locking hard tonneau cover (over a carpeted bed,) full-length steel
step rails, and proper tow hitch all make this a performance
machine with plenty of utility. This even has Ford's modern trailer
backup assist module that makes it easy to hook up the other toys
to this Tonka. It's an awesome total package that was over six
figures when new, and so this makes for a huge discount only a few
years and a few thousand miles later.
The Shelby trucks were based on the top-level Lariat trim, and so
you get a loaded modern interior that also has a ton of great
custom Shelby-style upgrades. It starts with all the best in
comfort features, including dual-zone automatic climate control,
power windows, power locks, keyless entry/alarm, power seats,
cruise control, power-adjustable pedals, and heated & cooled
leather seats up front. This is the latest-generation F-150, so it
has the cool panoramic sunroof option. It also has one of the most
modern infotainment systems around. That means a touchscreen that
runs the premium stereo, Bluetooth, satellite radio, navigation
system, and 360-degree cameras. A future classic also means the
best in safety, including dual airbags, side airbags, and anti-lock
brakes. And just to remind you how special it is, this has
individualized pieces like Tonka headrests, a special center
console badge, and a dash plaque with the car's serial number.
The upgrades under the hood let this special truck live up to the
Shelby part of its name. The original 5.0-liter V8 was given the
expensive High Output supercharger upgrade. This, along with other
added performance components, elevate this truck to a 700
horsepower supercar level. But as we mentioned before, this is
built for plenty of real truck duty. So the masters at Tuscany took
Ford's stout 4x4 system and upgraded it with a 3.5-inch suspension
lift, Fox Racing shocks, and BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires on
20-inch black Tuscany wheels. Plus, the six-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes mean this
powerful muscle truck is an easy cruiser, too.
There were only 128 of these reported to be built. So when you
think about what the Shelby name, big power, and true rarity all
mean on the classic market, then you start to understand just
exactly the kind of opportunity you have here for a low-mileage
pristine collectible. Call today!!!
