There's truly something special about owning a well-built street
machine that is as comfortable to take to the car show as it is to
drive across the country. This 1937 Ford pickup streetrod is just
that: a completely functional vehicle wrapped up in an awesome
shell. With a strong fuel-injected small block, overdrive
transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and custom A/C interior, it's
an award-worthy custom that also is easy to cruise near or far.
We don't have to tell you this is a sleek street machine...you knew
that from the first impression no matter what angle came into view.
After all, this is a quality fiberglass body with a chopped roof
and finished in an awesomely bold yellow. And it all looks
impressive because there's less than 1,600 miles on the full build.
Just like any good custom, it has all the right details to impress.
You see this in places like the bright chrome grille, smoothly
integrated running boards, deleted door handles, vertical
taillights, sport mirrors, and wide exhaust tips. And this one also
keeps those right touches of vintage with the teardrop headlights,
two-piece rear window, and real wood in the truck bed. Of course,
it wouldn't be a hot rod without an aggressive stance thanks to the
17/20-inch front/rear stagger of the Boyd Coddington wheels.
When you pop the remote door openers, the doors swing wide to
reveal a full custom interior. The exterior yellow returns as
accents, but the body style turns downright premium with all the
brown leather. Dual bucket seats give individual comfort, and yours
even power adjusts. There are also other desirable amenities, like
power windows and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. This is
built to be a true driver's machine, and that's why the grippy
sports steering wheel is on a Flaming River polished tilt column.
And the dash is dominated by AutoMeter Carbon Fiber gauges.
The front-hinged hood makes for an awesome showpiece that will
attract a crowd, and so they also made sure the engine bay was
ready to show off. It's an ultra-tidy setup with smooth inner walls
done in the truck's bold yellow. At the center is a 5.7-liter LT1
fuel-injected V8 w/aluminum heads like that was available in the C4
Corvette. That means it's a strong motor with solid footing. And
the headers feeding the stainless dual exhaust will make everyone
take notice of its rumble. But don't just listen to the sound,
admire its full path in the undercarriage photos. There you'll see
solid components, like a boxed frame w/strengthening crossmembers,
a tubular A-arm front suspension, and a triangulated four-link
rear. A strong setup like this was built for driving. That starts
with a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly
overdrive. This one also features Wilwood four-wheel power disc
brakes, QA1 adjustable coilovers, and modern sport tires.
Slick, distinct, and absolutely awesome, this is the streetrod
pickup with all the features you want. So don't let it go into
someone else's garage. Call now!
