This 1970 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT gets the attitude right. It's got a
cool classic two-tone style with just an added hint of flair. And
this super-clean truck also has proper V8 power in case you want
your vintage vehicle to still help out with the chores.
The two-tone blue shades really set off a classic attitude. The
paint is believed to have been applied just a few years ago. So it
has a bright shine that looks worthy of an upper-level Ranger XLT.
And the full-length trim strip is a great premium feature that
gives a clear dividing line for the blues. So this makes for a
carefully cohesive total package. Good-looking alloys, raised white
letter tires, large dual exhaust tips, and bright chrome bumpers
give this a great classic cruiser attitude. The thick rubber mat in
the bed has a good look and lets you get plenty of weekend work
done.
The interior was given an investment around the same time as the
paint upgrade. You can see the aim was to give you a fresher feel
while still staying very vintage. For example, you still have the
classic bench seat, but with a newer cover that gives you comfy
cloth inserts. And the carpeting, dash pad, and door panels all
have the excellent feeling of a good investment. The steering wheel
looks like it was kept pure stock, and so you can literally feel
the groves of the generations before you. Even pieces like the AM
radio and dealer-installed air conditioner are still there for
display (they will need components and/or servicing to function
again.) It all makes for the right atmosphere for those who really
want a classic truck experience. There are side vent windows and
sliding rear glass for you to get the old-school truck breezes
flowing through the cab.
Under the hood is Ford's 302 cubic-inch V8. It has some nice flair
with the polished air topper and Weiand finned valve covers. But
what you'll really enjoy is how this motor runs smoothly. And the
dual exhaust makes a powerful but dignified tune - the kind that
you could drive all day and never get tired of it. So you'll also
be glad to have great driving features like power steering, power
brakes, and a three-speed automatic transmission.
These F-100s are true classics, so when you can get a V8 two-tone
pickup for such an affordable price, you know you can't look
twice...or this one will be gone. Call today!!!
