Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1977 Mercedes-Benz W116
450SEL. Finished in one of our favorite colors, Ikon Gold, this
example has been well maintained and daily driven by the current
owner. Showing 122,000 miles which is believed original. One
repaint about five years ago in the correct color which shows to a
nice driver standard.
The interior remains in original condition that has held up quite
well given its age - nice door cards and headliner, nice wood,
original working Becker Europe stereo, working sunroof. There are
two small dash cracks, some light wear on the outer driver's seat
bolster and some separation on the top of the back seat.
Over $8,000 in documented maintenance since 2018 including
extensive brake service, control arms/bushings, belts, shift
bushings, battery, coolant flush, exhaust hangers, transmission
repair and reseal, steering coupling, alignment and more. This W116
runs and drives well; it's smooth and quiet and the A/C is cold.
Original owner's books and data card are included.
