Toyota gave the FJ-40 the now renowned 2F 4.2L inline-6 motor which is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The FJ-40 is also fitted with a great, go anywhere, four-wheel-drive system. This example is fitted with the original motor which was rebuilt to a very high standard.

While the original suspension in the FJ-40 was already ready to tackle any terrain, this Toyota rides on an Old Man Emu suspension with Nitro-Charged shocks. Old Man Emu (OME) is one of the most respected brands when it comes to aftermarket Toyota suspensions. Many swap out their stock suspensions for OME set ups to either increase off-road capability, for a better ride quality, lifted appearance, or a combination of all three. A Warn winch has been fitted behind the aftermarket bumper, and the tires have been upgraded to BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/As.
