1960 MGA Twin Cam
VIN# YD3-2446
Engine# 16GB/2104
Mileage: 41,495
Extremely nice professional ground up restoration, no expense spared. Between 1958-60 only 2,111 Twin Cam’s were produced 1,801 which were roadsters makes this a very desirable car (grade “A” collectible). It is in exceptional condition. Please look through the extended photos and video to see the great condition of this car.
Engine & Transmission: The car runs strong and the 4-speed manual transmission shifts smooth. It delivers power whenever you want it. The car has had regular use to avoid long periods of sitting. The underside of the car is extremely nice and dry (see photos). The car is in excellent mechanical condition.
Body: The body panels are all straight. All glass and lenses are in great shape. The paint is very nice. There is a one spot on the hood where the paint has a small chip in it (see photo) I would grade the paint a 9.5. Very nice gaps/great rubber. Incredibly solid showroom specimen.
Interior: The interior is like new. Close detail was put to making the interior as it was on the showroom floor. All doors are excellent, the headliner on the soft top is great. The dash is very clean and instruments work as they should. It has updated lap belts, seatbelts were not a requirement when the car was new. The trunk area is extremely nice, (see video) the correct material was used to make the interior showroom new.
Summary: The car comes from a collector that is keen on making sure his cars are in exceptional working order. The car is a time capsule and a joy to drive. There are extensive receipts to show the great expense put into this car, very well sorted. Perfect for cruising and taking to car shows this blue chip collector car will appreciate as time goes by. A much desired classic.
