assembled on July 26, 1956, this 1956 Corvette Convertible comes in
the desirable Red/Red color combination, and is in average
condition. This car's paint is avg, with a good shine. All exterior
chrome and stainless is avg as well, as is the weatherstripping,
steel wheels, and correct style hubcaps. Taillights are in good
condition, and Coker Classic radial wide whitewall tires show an
average of 10/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this
1956 Corvette Convertible shows avg seats, carpet, door panels,
gauges, steering wheel, and dash. Added seatbelts are in good
condition, and correct appearing Wonderbar AM radio is in place.
Chrome upper door panel trim has been added as well. The NOM 283ci
engine in this car shows casting number 3789935, original casting
date April 29, 1963, final assembly date April 30, 1963, and a CL
suffix. This engine is fed by two Carter 4 bbl carbs, mounted on a
correct 1956 Corvette GM aluminum intake manifold. Correct
appearing finned aluminum valve covers with corvette script are in
place, along with correct ignition shielding and generator. Chrome
radiator flex hose has been added, and the frame is solid and
