The first impression you get with this 1983 Chevrolet C10 is a
classic look with a bright white finish. So unless they hear this
one rumble, it's quite unassuming that there's big block muscle
lurking under the hood.
We like the incognito nature of this truck because its first
impression is about quality. The classic white style was given a
high-quality respray later in life. So it has a terrific shine and
luster that attracts attention for all the right reasons. Good body
lines, mirror-like chrome bumpers, classic Rally wheels, and
full-length trim all give an honest and solid feeling to this
pickup. There's even fresh-looking liner paint in the bed for when
it's time to get work done. In fact, the only thing that might make
you think this is anything more than a stock vintage machine are
the big and bright dual exhaust tips.
The interior has a nice look with a smooth dash pad, newer door
panels, a vibrant red on the bench seat, and new sun visors to
match. Nothing is too fancy here, because that's part of the
sleeper style. Instead, it just has the good 'ol work truck feel of
a robust rubber floor, older AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a
thin/grippy steering wheel. Just like the exterior, there are only
minimal clues to the beast that lurks in the engine bay. After all,
they do need to give you some upgraded essentials, like the
auxiliary readout trio and a B&M floor shifter.
When you open the hood, the fresh orange block does a great job of
drawing your attention to the fresh and bright paint of the 454
cubic-inch V8. This is built right with a Holley double-pumper
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performance RPM intake, and
shorty headers feeding the hardy dual exhaust. It's also built with
good supporting components, like fabricated valve covers, some
steel braided lines, and an upgraded ignition. The V8 is mated to a
three-speed automatic transmission that feeds the power to a stout
12-bolt rear end. Plus, power steering, power brakes, and front
discs make for a good all-around driver.
A short-bed single-cab pickup with plenty of muscle behind it is
always a ton of fun. And the sleeper style of this one is too cool
to resist. So don't miss this powerful Chevy. Call today!!!
