This was my husband's daily driver through PT school but it hasn't gotten the attention it deserves over the last few years. So, we are ready to let her go and for someone else to be able to enjoy it as much as we did! It does run and start up every time. It could use some love and attention though. Here are some of the details:
1967 Jeep Commando
Motor – 350 ci
Turbo 400 transmission, B&M shifter
Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor
UPGRADES:
Radio/CD with 2 Pioneer marine speakers
33x10.50 BFGoodrich all terrain tires, good tread left on them
Valve job within the last 5,000 miles
Transmission flush and maintenance
Carburetor kit
New spark plugs/wires
Electrical redone
New drums and shoes in the rear, new pads in front
High lift jack, fuel can, and full size spare on rear rack
S10 bucket seats
Tilt steering
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
It is currently 2WD. The larger than stock motor creates clearance issues with the front driveline. Transfer case and front axle are fully functional.
The mechanical fuel pump that is original to the motor has developed a leak at the seal. A new mechanical fuel pump can be purchased for $20-$40.
There are some rust spots and spots where the paint is peeling that were there when we purchased the vehicle.
