1970 Dodge Challenger RT Tribute
If you ever wanted a bright colored 70's muscle car, then you won't
go wrong when you see this bright green "Sub Lime" 1970 Dodge
Challenger RT Tribute we have at Skyway Classics.
That is the name of the paint color on this beautiful car. It is
also the original born with color per the Trim Tag that states it
was FJ5 - "Sublime" a "HIGH IMPACT COLOR."
Mechanical
Ours came with the E44 - 318 V8 Single 2 Barrel Carburetor (8
Cylinder) with 230 horsepower and the D31 - 3 Speed Automatic
Transmission, from the factory, it is now powered by a modified big
block Mopar 4-barrell engine with a whole lot of speed goodies
including tube headers, MSD electronic ignition, performance spark
plug wires and coil, aluminum radiator, chrome open element air
cleaner, black wrinkle painted aluminum finned valve covers, and
more.
The engine has power steering and brakes and sits in a body colored
painted, clean, and detailed engine compartment and is backed by a
4-speed manual transmission, with the engine gases exiting thru the
turbo-type mufflers and rear exhausts.
Interior
The interior options and features on the 1970 Dodge Challenger per
the Trim Tag include:

The interior has the correct black bucket seat interior with
another complete set of upholstery new too, the original wood grain
dash and gauge cluster with Original Rally Cluster tick tock tach,
a Kenwood Stereo Radio and amp system, wood steering wheel, and
newer carpeting and Red Challenger RT mats with sound deadener
throughout.
The great black interior features Vinyl Bucket Seats in front and
matching rear seat, black carpet, pistol grip shifter, wood
steering wheel, factory stock gauges, wood trim on the door panels,
dash pad, and more.
Exterior
The Challenger was repainted in its original color of Lime Green
with factory black RT stripes on the twin scoop hood, black rear
spoiler, and has a great ride and handling when riding on the
performance blackwall tires on polished aluminum wheels.
The entire underside and chassis has been redone and is painted and
detailed as nicely as the body and the engine compartment!
