Vehicle Description
When you want a vintage truck that's up for work or play - and
looks cool doing it all - then it's time to step up to this 1981
GMC C10. With strong V8 power, a cool/custom presentation, and
plenty of utility this is a standout pickup for quite a nice
price.
This one has all the features truck people want. After all, robust
paint in the bed means you can do the weekend chores, and a proper
trailer hitch maximizes the utility. But it's not the practical
side that really has you attracted to this one, is it? Instead,
what first grabs your eye is that metallic green paint that nicely
showcases the sheet metal. Plus, the billet grille that covers the
full front end, wide chrome bumpers, and those big 24-inch alloys
on a lowered suspension give this GMC a real upgrade in
attitude.
The interior is a comfortable set up with plenty of cool custom
touches. It starts with a unique bench seat with ostrich-style
inserts. The dash pad and door panels were even done to match. The
upgraded sport steering wheel is on a tilt column, and that gives
you a good view to the wraparound gauge panel. This truck has some
comfort additions, like tinted windows, auxiliary readouts, and
provisions for R134a air conditioning (it just likely needs a
recharge.)
Under the hood is a later upgrade to a 350 cubic-inch V8. It
inhales deeply with a Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor,
and it exhales with added power and authority as long tube headers
feed into straight pipes and Flowmaster mufflers. This fires up
easily, and you also have power steering, power brakes, front
discs, and a three-speed automatic transmission. So the truck that
has some mean style on the outside is actually quite easy to enjoy
on the road.
This is the cool truck that provides you with plenty of attitude
and plenty of utility. And at this affordable price, you get to
even leave room in your budget for even more personalization. Call
