Vehicle Description
You already fell in love/lust with this 1968 Chevrolet C10 because
of its modern fuel-injected 6.0-liter supercharged V8 putting out
plenty of horsepower. But take some time to dig deeper into the
fresh build with under 400 miles on the odometer. You'll discover
features like the great paint, custom interior, six-speed auto
transmission, upgraded suspension, and adjustable air ride setup.
It all proves that this restomod is turn-key ready to turn
heads.
This truck deserves a bold color like this red. After all, if
they're going to take the time to get the bodywork so straight, it
deserves a bright clearcoat shine. And those Boze wheels are both a
great way to draw attention to the wide rear rubber and they also
go nicely with the bright shine of the chrome bumpers. But this
truck doesn't take the custom look too wildly. It's more about
being subtle and thoughtful in the details, like the clear
headlights, deleted side trim, and smoothed tailgate. So it really
lets the well-presented classic Chevy lines do the loudest talking.
The thoughtfulness of the build is especially seen in the bed. Not
only do you have gorgeous lumber on the floor. But that
classic-style Chevy cooler in the middle is there as a permanent
piece. That way you can let the adjustable air bag suspension get
low, and the rear diff can tuck through the bed floor without
anyone on the outside seeing it!
The bold red style continues inside. It really attracts attention
for having the extra details in a fresh red when most others door
black. It's in places like the dash pad, carpeting, door panels,
and suede-like headliner. And the red seat has the classic bench
style, but the custom contouring offers you bucket-like comfort.
The center stack has great upgrades like an AM/FM radio
w/Bluetooth, provisions for R134a air conditioning (it will need a
recharge), and the switches to adjust the ideal height on demand.
And there are more great features, including cruise control and
power windows. The classic Chevy sports steering wheel is mounted
on a tilt column, and the upgraded Dakota Digital gauges have a
cool red glow to go with the rest of the interior (it's just
another one of this truck's thoughtful build touches.)
The engine bay could win awards on its own for its presentation.
After all, the slick fender walls funnel your attention to quite a
tidy motor. And more than just look great, one look under the hood
tells you this pickup has some fire-breathing power. That's a
6.0-liter LQ9 V8. While this was developed to be a hardy motor to
power Cadillac SUVs, this one is a performance crate motor that has
been enhanced and fortified to be much more beastly. The upgrades
include an LS6 camshaft, LS3 rocker arms, 821 heads, and LS3
harness. Plus, this has an Edelbrock E-force supercharger system
that has an instant hit of serious power. And everything from the
DeWitts radiator to the hood hinges have been done in black to keep
this looking exceptionally detailed and fresh. The V8 fires up with
gusto as Hooker headers feed the Magnaflow dual exhaust. As you
look at the undercarriage photos, you can see how fresh this one is
over every inch. You'll also spot the upgraded Ridetech suspension
components. And it's an all-around driver with a six-speed
automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering, Hydraboost
brakes, and Wilwood four-wheel discs with drilled & slotted
rotors.
Complete with service manuals, this is a terrific street machine
