Vehicle Description
There's only one kind of hauling this stunning 1973 Chevrolet C10
does these days, and it ain't about feed-n-seed. Nope, you know
exactly what this Pro Street style machine and its supercharged
dual-quad big block was built to haul. The full custom treatment
takes this blue-collar pickup to an entirely new level, and so it's
amazing you can get it all for such an obtainable price.
There's no way anyone will mistake this stepside Chevy pickup for a
contractor's ride. There's a huge air grabber popping out of the
hood, billet grille, sport mirrors, aerodynamic tonneau cover,
frenched taillights, big dual exhaust tips, and even more flare
added to those curvy rear fenders to help contain the massive rear
rubber. All of this (and more) combines for one aggressive pickup.
It's all wrapped in a sleek and dark black. But the real
showstopper is the full flame package that consumes the hood and
burns down the sides. It's done with the expensive chameleon paint
that shifts the hue of its metallic glow depending on the light.
It's such a cool look that the paint alone won awards in 2018, and
there has been good care since then to make sure it remains
stylish. It makes for a package that's equal parts aggressive and
elegant.
The interior also gets the custom treatment. It starts with the
button-top soft velour seat that is pure lowrider cool. And there's
a custom headliner to match. Plus, the carpeting, lower doors, and
dash pad all coordinate for a thoughtful look. We love this
generation of Chevy trucks for having a dash that wraps around the
driver like a sports car, and that just seems right in an upgraded
truck like this. After all, it feels like a true performance
machine with the Grant sports steering wheel, added temp and boost
gauges, and the large tach integrated into the factory
readouts.
The smooth and dark inner walls of the engine bay do a great job of
directing your attention to the full power package in the middle.
The big air grabber may have been what first attracted you to this
powerhouse, but your eyes will then be transfixed on the big power
of dual four-barrel carburetors sitting on top of a roots-style 671
blower. And beneath this is a 454 cubic-inch big block that's said
to be bored .30 over to 461ci total. Oh yeah, this is an awesome
powerhouse. That's why it's also supported by the right pieces,
like a classic Cragar intake, Mallory fuel pump, ribbed aluminum
valve covers, steel braided lines with AN fittings, and a full MSD
ignition system. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a
stout unit that was built right, including a mild stall. This feeds
a shortened 12-bolt rear end. The suspension has also been upgraded
with better front springs and traction arms in the rear. And while
it has a full blacktop burner look and power, there's also a tamer
side to this. Power steering, power brakes, front discs, and
highway-friendly rear gears give this some added general
appeal.
This Chevy has an awesome custom style and a seriously powerful
heart. So be the envy of every muscle car out there with an
affordable and stout muscle truck. Call today!!!
