18, 1966, this BODY-OFF RESTORED 1966 Corvette 427/425hp
Convertible has been refinished in the highly desirable Black
color, and is in particularly nice condition, looking to have a
very fresh restoration, and comes with some great features as well,
including side exhaust, teakwood steering wheel, and knockoff style
wheels. This car's paint is vg, with a great shine. Convertible top
is vg-exc, as is the finish on the chrome bumpers. All exterior
glass in this car shows a correct date code. Taillights and
exterior door handles are vg, and weatherstripping is exc. Knockoff
style wheels are vg-exc with vg spinners, and Coker Classic radial
goldline tires show an average of 9/32nds tread depth remaining in
the front, and an average of 8/32nds remaining in the rear. The
interior of this 1966 Corvette 427/425hp Convertible shows exc
seats, GM seatbelts, glovebox lid, dash pods, door panels, and
center console, and vg-exc teakwood steering wheel, loop carpet,
and gauges. Clock is currently working with a correct non-quartz
movement. The numbers matching 427ci engine in this car shows
original casting date September 25, 1965, and final assembly date
February 18, 1966. Correct air cleaner, carburetor, intake
manifold, ignition shielding, valve covers, spark plug wires,
alternator, and radiator hoses and hose clamps are all in place.
