powered by a rebuilt 303ci V8 motor that features a Holley
carburetor, Griffin radiator, and Hooker headers. Mated to the
strong V8 motor is a smooth shifting close-ratio Muncie 4-speed
manual transmission. Other upgrades include front disc brakes, dual
exhaust, and hydraulic-reservoir brakes and clutch.
This example is finished in Dark Cobalt Blue on a laser-straight
body. The light gray deluxe interior features digital gauges in the
stock dashboard along with an upgraded Oldsmobile audio system.
Other interior features include a Hurst shifter, power windows,
electric wipers, power antenna, and power trunk. A unique feature
of this classic Oldsmobile is that it has shaved door handles. To
open the doors you must press a button on a key fob that
electronically pops open the doors with a satisfying click. This
Rocket 88 rides on louvered steel wheels wrapped in wide whitewall
tires, giving this example a beautiful classic look.
